GOOD WINDS HAVE BROUGHT US HERE
Our search for the best wind conditions has brought us to Brazil’s Northeast region, more specifically to the states of Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte and Piauí. Queiroz Galvão Energia’s first projects are located in these Brazilian regions, which have remarkable wind potential.
Within a record four-year term, Queiroz Galvão Energia was able to deploy five wind farms.
Ceará - 3 farms which together have 86 wind turbines with installed capacity of 200 megawatts.
Rio Grande do Norte – 1 wind farm with 54 wind turbines and an installed capacity of 145.8 MW.
Piauí - 1 farm with 70 wind turbines and a capacity of 189 MW.
Another farm with 60 wind turbines and 178 MW of capacity will be deployed by 2018, Totaling 270 wind turbines and installed capacity of 710.2 megawatts.
